St. Petersburg Airport Transfer Guide (2026) - All Options
Easily book reliable airport transfers in St. Petersburg for a stress-free start to your trip-choose private cars, shared shuttles, or luxury options.
We have not yet verified how travellers currently reach St. Petersburg from the airport serving it, so we are not publishing routes, operators or fares we cannot stand behind. For what is running on the day you travel, the arrivals information published by your arrival airport is the reliable source, and your accommodation will usually know what works best for the hour you land.
Helpful Tips
Buy a Podorozhnik transit card at any metro station for tap-and-go access to metro, buses, trams and trolleybuses.
Use the Yandex Go app to book official yellow taxis or rideshares with fixed fares and cashless payment.
Take the Aeroexpress train from Moskovsky Railway Terminal to Pulkovo Airport, departing roughly every 30 minutes.
Metro stations close at midnight. Switch to night buses marked with an 'N' prefix if traveling later.
Common Scams to Avoid
Unofficial 'taxi coordinators' inside Pulkovo arrivals hall quote inflated flat rates to the city center and may imply the official taxi desk is closed. Bypass them and use the clearly marked city taxi stand outside or pre-book via the airport's official partner apps.
Some drivers of the official-looking black-and-yellow taxis that queue at the terminal switch off or hide the meter once the journey starts, then demand 2, 3× the normal fare. Insist the meter stays on and visible, or agree on a firm price before leaving the airport perimeter.
Private drivers in the parking lot approach tourists claiming their pre-booked ride has cancelled and offer a 'special airport rate', often double the market price. Verify your identity of any pre-arranged driver via phone or app before leaving the terminal and decline unsolicited offers.
